Best season 2 of any series

In my season 1 poll, Star Trek won in a landslide with 66 percent of the vote. Now on to season 2..

I still have to go with Star Trek again for season 2. I like this even more than season 1 thanks to my two favorite episodes: Mirror,Mirror and The Trouble with Tribbles.

A close second would have to go to Deep Space nine. The return to the mirror universe,the opening trilogy,Blood Oath,The Maquis and the Jem'Hadar.

Star Trek and Voyager. TNG was probably where the eps started to be consistently good also. DS9 was hard to watch the first few seasons.

That's an easy one for me: Season two of DS9! The Circle Trilogy rules!

(But TOS's second season comes very close ...)

TOS for me, although DS9 is also quite good. I thought VOY had a good second season, but it doesn't stack up to TOS and DS9 for me.

Season 2 of Classic Trek is my all-time favorite season of Trek, so this is an easy one for me. Granted that DS9 comes darn close, but this isn't a horseshoe poll, so...

TOS and DS9 are both in fine form in Season 2. VOY's is good, but its second season is dragged down by the Kazon. TNG and ENT are quite hit or miss.

It came down to TOS and VOY.

I voted Voyager because that was the peak of their best seasons. TOS was consistently good.

TOS consistently good? Season 3 had few good episodes IMO.

The Original Series.

While DS9's second season opened and closed great, TOS was exemplary through-out. TNG and Voyager were fairly average. Enterprise was mostly a total write-off during its second season.

Basically just said it for me right there, though I thought TNG's second season was much more mediocre than Voyager's. TNG sucked at first, stuttered in its second season and finally kicked it into gear in Season 3, which is awesome.

Just watch, TOS has obviously won out for Seaason 1 and 2 polls, can't wait to see what series usurps it for a Season 3 poll...

The first two seasons of TOS are so much better than the first two of any of the other series, it's not even close.

Season three will be a different story though.

Going out on a limb, here are my predictions for the poll winners for the next five rounds:

TOS wins 'Best season two' for me. We got awesome eps like 'Mirror, Mirror' , 'Amok Time', and 'The Trouble With Tribbles'.

DS9 only really got going in season three; the first couple of years were a bit dull. TNG didn't get moving til its third season either. ENT's second season was thoroughly dire, producing some of its most infamous episodes ('A Night In Sickbay', anyone?), although there were a few standouts like 'Future Tense' and 'Cogenitor'.

VOY's second season I remember being actually quite good. There were episodes like 'Tuvix' , 'Resistance' and 'The Thaw' which were well above average.

The order for me goes like this:

TOS
VOY
DS9
TNG
ENT

Voyager. Season two was one of its best years, especially with the Seska/Kazon arc culminating in Basics, Part One.

ENT's second season was its worst, Deep Space Nine was still finding its footing in season two (as was TNG), and season two of TOS was half great and half poor).

I'll go with DS9 on this one, slightly above TOS. This is where DS9 started truly realizing its stationary concept and started telling ongoing stories that had repercussions far down the line. There were a few clunkers here and there but overall, DS9's S2 was very strong IMHO.

I think that seasons 2 of TNG, VOY and ENT are pretty bad and not even close to the above mentioned.
