I've been out of town and am late to the thread, but I don't think one of my all-time favorites has been mentioned: "Roadrunner" by the Modern Lovers (Jonathan Richman).

Joan Jett used to play it at all her live shows, too, probably still does.
Since songs about the business end of rock have been mentioned, I'll add the Stones "Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man," Warren Zevon's "Even a Dog Can Shake Hands," and the Clash's "Complete Control."
