Since I can't go with anything SF&F, I'll say Sherlock.
Damn! How did I forget Sherlock? That was one of the best shows I've seen all year.
Although I suppose you could argue that was more of a miniseries . . . .

I see it as just a season made up of three 2-hour episodes. Another season like that is on the way.Since I can't go with anything SF&F, I'll say Sherlock.

Oh, and I've eliminated the SF&F stuff...
Ya say that, but No Ordinary Family & The Cape (shows about superheroes) are both in the poll.
I went with The Killing (AMC).
Toss up between Terriers and Nikita for me; Killing, Chicago Code and Body of Proof are ok too.
Btw. because it's been mentioned several times I think Chicago Code sucks hard. The only character on the show that I like is the newbie partner (and I probably do only because he was Luke Cafferty on FNL) of the asshole douchebag super-cop. I don't understand what this show even wants to be, gritty police-political drama ala Wire or simple procedural ala L&O? Anyway, it fails at both, unlikable and cliche characters (oh but Gibbons cares about old people, how deep) and boring crime mysteries. Waste of fucking time imo.
The only one on this list I've even seen is Bob's Burgers, so, uh, that gets my vote by default.
I don't know who you are or what you want with him, but you better let Roger go, sir.

Not sure why Boardwalk Empire wouldn't be on there, or Louie (which I hear great things about but haven't gotten around to yet).
