Ohhhhh, as great as he was as the Squire, Campbell swallowed as a Klingon. His performance in Tribbles is the reason why I CANNOT vote for Tribbles.

I agree. I hate his Koloth. After Colicos tore it up and even Tige Andrews did just fine in "Friday's Child"-- Campbell's take on a Klingon Com was ------ lame.

I get the episode was not a serious one, but he seemed so wrong for the part, even in an episode with "Tribbles" tone.

They wanted Colicos back--I've always wondered what he would have done with the lines. Snarled them at least i would guess.
Koloth= pansy

Agreed, Campbell was all wrong in "Tribbles". Michael Pataki should have been cast as Koloth instead of the XO, he was much more believable as a TOS-era Klingon.

Let's pretend Koloth got the job by nepotism and Pataki was given the XO job to make sure he didn't screw up too badly.

I can live with that, but how do you explain Koloth's Prussian heel click and bow? Was he a Stalag 17 fan?:guffaw:

You don't know Stalag 17 until you've seen it in the original Klingon.
