Liked the one where they go to the world with only women, that was interesting. Also liked the one where Remmie was an Elvis like figure. The pilot is also very good, the communist states of America is pretty revealing
That episode where they slide to the 1980s and Quinn's double is a young boy being bullied at school was pretty good, I thought.
That is a pretty good episode too. It wasn't the 1980s, it was "present day", but time moved slower on that world.
was it called The Guardian ?
what did you guys think about the characters?
the professor doesn't seem like a tv actor. he's kind of 'off putting' to look, but he's a great actor.
i really like quinn malllory. he was perfect for the role. good looking, strong sense of adventure and a real 'curious' personality.

I loved this series but once you lost the prof and started to have Quinn's twin etc I lost interest. Girls were gorgeous though. One question, when Arturo was shot and killed are we sure it was him? Are we sure it wasn't just his double from the other world?

The original characters were great. The new characters with their stupid reasons for sliding were... stupid.

okay, i just watched 'prince of walls' where the british won the war. it wasn't that great at all.
i'm watching 'summer of love' now and it's not worthwhile either.
what are some real science fiction eps?
i might look at 'weaker sex' later.

If you're watching early Sliders for the sci-fi, you'll be disappointed. The main focus of the series at the beginning was to show alternate histories and differing social norms. It was great.

If you want sci-fi, watch season 4, it's actually not as bad as many fans say. Only problem is half the original cast is gone, though Kari Wuhrer and Charlie O'Connell aren't too bad as replacements.
