Okay, this is part two of the seventh season. What's your favorite episode out of those five?

This poll is open for two days. (Well, it's supposed to be. ;))

I suppose it's the obvious choice, but the finale for me too. The best effort by the Moore / Braga team. A perfect end to a great seven years.

We all know which episode will win, but I'll give Preemptive Strike a pity vote. I rather like that one, and it was a great send-off for a character who hadn't been seen for a whole year!

Not an easy choice:

Voted for: All Good Things ...

2nd; Parallels
3rd: Lower Decks
4th: Preemptive Strike
5th The Pegasus

I know AGT... will win, but Lower Decks gets my vote. I rarely rewatch the finale, but I've seen Lower Decks a dozen times now and the ending still gets me teary-eyed every time.

I voted for Parallels, because it was a really entertaining episode. I've always wished that the writers would have done this as a two-parter and shown us some more of the alternate Enterprises. I would have loved to have seen Cmdr. Shelby or Dr. Pulaski again.

All Good Things... is an incredible episode. I, still, have the original tape from the night the finale aired. It was definitely event television. I think we watched it three times in a row that night. However, over the years it has lost some of its luster for me. YMMV

All Good Things... Must come to end. Simply put, this season's absolute best episode, and the best Show finale in the Trek canon. Its just beautifull how the writers weave the beggining of the series with its end so elegantly. Its just masterful handling of a superb effort.

What he said, as well.

Simply, amazing!

The finale was probably the finest hour of Star Trek ever produced. It's a ringer episode...probably shouldn't be on the list. For regular season episode...Parallels.

Difficult choice. "All Good Things..." is by a distance the best Trek finale, yet it doesn't hold a candle to some others I've seen. The other four eps are the highlights of an otherwise very, very mediocre season. Along with "Gambit", they're the only ones I rewatch at all.

I'll go with "Lower Decks". It's the first Trek ep to acknowledge the "little people" who are as much a part of the Federation flagship's crew as the ones we see all the time. We were introduced to new characters who made an immediate, positive impact. And there wasn't the sort of "happily ever after" ending for which the oft-derided TNG is routinely criticised. It's just a great episode. :bolian:

I've said it once, I'll say it again - for a season with so much crap, the best episodes are pretty darn good. All of these are excellent choices! I went with Parallels. It's just too much fun. Lower Decks or Pegasus were my second choices.
