Best Episode of Season 2, Part 2

Never said it had poor writing. Far from it. Just not exceptional writing, at least not in how the acts and scenes are structured. In terms of the script it is a bit of a poor man's "Duet" albeit one with some great lines. But its major asset is Robinson's presence who delivers a performance that was about as good as any I had ever seen on a Trek show.

I don't want to come across as picking on the ep because it is great.

I find it interesting that people always seem to want more 'Mirror' universe episodes, and yet, Crossover isn't getting the votes. Granted, I liked it but it wasn't the best of the season.

I gave my vote to Necessary Evil.

Necessary Evil. Seeing the "old days" of DS9 really added a lot to subsequent episodes, such as the scene at the end of Call to Arms where the major characters in Necessary Evil are ironically reunited.
