Hello.

ENT's first season had it's up and downs, and some saw it as a rough start to what would be a show that proved to polarize some fans. However, what is the best of this season?

:rommie: I thought you had forgotten about Enterprise.

Anyway, I voted for Broken Bow (an excellent pilot), Dear Doctor (true, thoughtful Trek IMHO) and Two Days and Two Nights (loved the humor, the Risa sets and the fact that Hoshi is the only one who gets laid ;)).

Andorian Incident: Who wouldn't love the introduction of Shran?

Silent Enemy: This was really good on so many levels. We learn a lot about Malcolm. The aliens are really creepy. And Enterprise isn't up to the challenge of fighting them off. So Archer turns the ship around and heads home to get weapons up to snuff. And I like that Trip and Malcolm -- who aren't friends yet -- have their teams working together on installing the weapons themselves. And when Trip overrules Malcolm on the idea of fiddling with power sources to the newly-installed weapons, he is respectful but firm.

Shuttlepod One: A solid bottle episode about opposites who become friends. Good drama and humor and excellent performances by Connor and Dom.

P.S.: I could have voted for many more!

Broken Bow
Shuttlepod One
Shockwave

Interesting they were all written by the much maligned Brannon Braga and Rick Berman.

Broken Bow, Shuttlepod One, Shockwave

with honorable mention to Silent Enemy, Desert Crossing, and 2D&2N

SamusAranX, is that a tanuki in your av?

'Dear Doctor' is by far the best episode of the season with a very Trek-like message (though not all that subtle!). I also liked 'Shuttlepod One' for the character development of Trip and Reed. 'Broken Bow' also gets a vote for being the most consistent in quality of all trek pilots (though DS9's Emissary is still my overall favourite).

let's see...

Shuttlepod One
Dear Doctor
Acquisition (yes, I liked that episode! So, sue me! :p)

The Andorian Incident. A great first episode for Shran, and the climax with T'Pol, Archer, and Shran is a show stopper!

No question - Andorian Incident. It did what much of season 4 missed: tying TOS in with Enterprise in interesting ways while making it unique.

Broken Bow
The Andorian Incident
Shuttlepod One

Dear Doctor was good, too, but about as subtle as a hammer to the head.

Shuttlepod One (also my fave ep overall)
The Andorian Incident
Vox Sola

Tough choices - on different days I could've also picked Silent Enemy, Desert Crossing, Civilisation, Fallen Hero, Breaking The Ice, Unexpected, 2D2N's and Shockwave
