i'm sorry to say this but the original enterprise doesn't look good to me at all, production capabilities of the show aside, i just can't get around the "thickness" of the neck! it's so skinny that i'm surprised the ship made it to be considered for refiting.
i grew up in the TNG era so i have a biased favor towards the big-D. i do like the B as well and agree with what malchya said about it. as for the real ships named enterprise, i pick the first enterprise carrier. i fell in love with its design and wish that it had been turned into a museum instead of scrapping it. how in the heck do you scrap a ship with that great of a career? i also hate that it's overshadowed by its nuclear counterpart. ah well, at least she got documentary series about her.
