Another random thought. I have to go back and watch the episode where we see young Ben on the island for the first time (what was it called?), his father, and then later the purge. As of the S5 Finale, Ben is still with the Others... but he obviously goes back to Dharma at some point, and then much later when Ben is grown up a bit the Purge happens (late 80s?) I'm just wondering if we go back and watch that episode again if it may give us some clues as to what happened in "The Incident"? Whatever happens, Ben doesn't return to Dharma until there is no sign left of all our Losties, because otherwise he would remember them when he grows up. Unless he does remember them and has been hiding it the entire time.
