Ben Shapiro Reviews The Rise of The Skywalker

If you all are going to have a debate, stop whinging around things and do it. Otherwise stop arguing past each other just to argue.

Now tell me how I can sell a house that's underwater. Ben seems to know.
On an intellectual level, I know that there are truly stupid people. But to witness someone who apparently has quite a few ardent followers imply that global climate change is no big deal, because anyone whose house goes underwater can just sell it and move to higher ground, that's actually shockingly pathetic. If that's the kind of drivel that people take for common sense, we don't have good prospects as a species.

Nor does the person who would say such a mind-numbingly stupid thing have good prospects for motivating me to watch his videos, including his review of Episode IX.

No, I posted evidence from respected medical institutions. You claimed they didn’t count because you didn’t believe it. Everyone here can read it. You’re not trying to have a real debate you’re trying to troll and push bullshit. You are not the first to post like this and you won’t be the last. It’s tiresome because you all say the same thing and all try to get insulted so they can play the victim. I’m not giving you what you want so we’re having this endless cycle of Rabbit Season Duck Season because you don’t know how to bail out of this crash and keep digging yourself deeper. You’re not good at this, go try Twitter you’ll get more bites that way.

If you’re going to persist in this delusional charade then answer the inconsistencies in the studies I put forward and express why when we both post from the same source- why yours is valid and mine is biased.

I claimed it didn’t prove your claim and that even the authors of the study claimed it was a theory based on assumed brain mapping. It has nothing to do with what I believe.

What I want is for you to address the issues and have knowledge of the studies you offer instead of thinking Googling a link proves your point. This nonsense of yours just goes on and on without declaration or address and the concealment of your groundless ideology just continues via this childish repartee.

Do you see me bending the knee? Submitting to this ridiculousness? No. I’m no victim. I’m trying to have a discussion with someone who debates like an anxiety attack. At the very least I’m glad to hear you don’t think Im good at this because God knows what stands for a reasonable exchange in your mind.

From the first moment I replied to your tantrum you’ve been this way so again I ask: feel like actually addressing what we’re talking about instead of evasion and anticipating what I’m doing and why?(which you have got wildly wrong every single time)

It’s a comment on alarmism, not climate change. What’s stupid is reframing it to object to something that was said hypothetically to address imminent concern.

In my view, there are other forums on the board more appropriate for getting into this topic, at least three that I can think of: science, miscellaneous, and TNZ as has already been mentioned upthread by a forum moderator.

The relevance that this has here to the subject of SW is that the person in the OP video has been shown to have said something stupid enough for me not to have any interest in watching his videos, including his EpIX review.

One thing I don't get about Shapiro is how did he get so much success being so boring. I understand that the whole YouTube success thing is really built more on personality and how well people make their arguments more than any truth or facts or anything like that. Yet the guy is boring as dishwater. Compare him to say Alex Jones and it's night and day. Alex Jones is so insane you can't look away. His Joe Rogan guest spot was epic. Shapiro has no personality that can see. His arguments are told in the most dry and straightforward way possible.

Apparently it’s become a debate on ideologies and biology. The last I looked, this was the Star Wars forum. Maaaaybe take it to the appropriate venue? (That would be TNZ or PM.) We have enough conversations here that veer wildly off topic.

There's this stupid thing he said.

He's such a joke.

Even a reasonably intelligent person understands that rising levels are gradual and also that houses are more than the land they are on. Come on now. Anyone not educated by comic books can see these obvious elements. You think that climate change is a tidal wave Monday morning? Wow. Haha

Okay, so someone who lives near the shore sells their house because of the rising sea levels and moves further in-land. What does the person who bought the house do?
