Being Human (BBC America)

Hey fans - BBC America here to give you a sneak pee of another great show we are starting to offer our fans in the US. This one is called Being Human and for those of you who don't know, it’s the story of three twenty-somethings who lead interesting double lives to say the least; a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost who all share a flat together and attempt to be normal (well, as normal as possible).

If you’d like to find out more, take a peek at BBCAmerica.com – we’ve got character guides, cast interviews and more, to get you right up to speed. And even better – Season 1 will be coming to DVD on July 20, so you can be completely caught up by the time the new season kicks off. Start getting excited – it’s going to be a great ride!

Aren't you a bit late posting this, seeing as how the entire first season already aired on BBCA months ago?

This is probably the most official spam I've seen on the BBS in a long time. Perhaps ever.

We recently had someone from USA Network touting Covert Affairs (which turned out to be uninteresting in that way we expect from USA Network). One guy seemed okay but if they're all going to dogpile in here, maybe the mods should put a stop to it.

At the very least, they should figure out what forum to spam in. And they should refrain from recruiting people to other websites. Encouraging discussion here is one thing, but that seems out of line.

I wanna see someone brave enough to post on behalf of skiffy. Or Fox.

I didn't have BBC America until just before the new season of Doctor Who began airing, so I missed Being Human the first time.

Will the first series of BH be re-aired, or will it start right in with the second series?

We'll be running Season 1 marathons this Sunday, July 18 and Friday, July 23. If you want to watch on your own time, you can pre-order our freshman season onDVD or Blu-Ray now (out July 20). Hope that answered your question - let me know if you've got more.

I wonder whether the TV companies should have some kind of heads-up facility on here, notwithstanding the excellent service provided by the likes of Bob in the UK.

SO looking forward to series 2.. The first series started a bit slow for me, but really picked up toward the end.. I just wish On Demand would let me see Ashes to Ashes Series 2, as I missed it when it aired..

This counts as spam, right? Or does it mean that now I can post a similar ad for products that I sell as well?
Hope the moderators treat it as they would any spam posts.

Excellent? I've been rather shite lately, haven't I? Which reminds me, time for a Sherlock thread.

It's premiere week, everybody! A few things to note as we prep for the Season 2 premiere on Saturday, July 24 at 10/9c:

We just arrived at Comic-Con and will be there all weekend

Also I'm only here to keep you fans happy, so if I am imposing and too spam-like, I will happily leave and let you all discuss the shows yourselves. Cheers!

As long as you bring us pictures of Russell Tovey sans clothing, we'll get along just fine. :D
