Ok, handing in my guy card now...


Being Erica stars Erin Karpluk...whom interests me.
Erica Strange is 32 years old, perpetually single, and stuck in a series of dead-end jobs. But she's been given an amazing gift: the opportunity to relive regrets from her past, enabling her to change the present. Guided by the mysterious Dr. Tom, she weaves through present and past, realizing she needs to take control of her own destiny.

I haven't seen it at all and I am wondering if anyone has seen it? Is it good? I know the show is into it's second season now...just wondering if it is worth getting into.
 
Season 2 just ended. It's not a chick show, it's just a good show. I love it and recomend it. I thought it got better, especially in it's second season. I won't spoil you or tell you what to expect because you have to see it for yourself.
 
Yeah, it has some elements which I think of as "chick flickish," but for the most part it manages to be an entertaining character drama, with an interesting (if fairly light) mythology.

Beyond that, it's worth watching for Doctor Tom alone, IMO. He's a great character.
 
I am gonna catch what I can online before getting the first season on DVD.
 
I'm also a fan of Being Erica. It's even better in Season 2. Hopefully it'll be back for another season.
 
I have to say that Being Erica very quickly moved itself into my list of top 10 favorite shows. Highly recommended!
 
Ok, I'm turning in my balls now too.

I DVR'd a couple episodes of this series over the weekend and am watching them. Quirky series maybe bit "chicky" but I like it.

Erin Karpluk is irresistably cute and quirky.
 
The best way to fully appreciate the twists, turns and overall development is to start at the beginning and watch the episodes in order.

That's awesome.

I saw some of it recently and very good show.

I might get it on DVD after all...last checked it was 55$ on amazon.com bit much but it is an import hopefully it will be cheaper in the future.

For those interested:

The actress who plays Erica Strange is playing the boss of the mother on Life Unexpected.
 
I've seen a few episodes of this in the afternoon (on the SOAP network) and really like it. I'm actually thinking about buying the first season on DVD if it's out and watching it from the beginning.

I've seen a couple of the episodes on TV but watching SOAP net just makes me feel... dirty. Like I should just cut my own balls off and get it over with.

So I want to buy it on DVD (so I can watch the first season) but, I'm not having much luck finding a US version of the DVDs readily available.
