They might not have their original plumbing equipment.Picard and Seven seem to still have them.
In the 23rd century they had pills that could grow new kidneys. The 24th could have pills that can grow new pee-pees and hoo-has.

I'm sure, assimilated people do NOT lose their sexual organs, at least not immediately.
Remember, when Tuvok, B'Elanna & Janeway got assimilated. They hada technology to save their minds from assimilation, but their bodies completely became borg. Would they have done it for THIS price? I dont's think so.
But most importantly: B'Elanna became pregnant AFTER her time a a borg.
I also assumed that those babies were victims of assimilation in first stage maturation chambers. It was established in "Q Who" that the Borg don't only reproduce by assimilation. Our heroes found an infant that was already in process to become a drone, and it had to come from somewhere. They postulated that the Borg use some form if IVF and artificial wombs, but the raw materials had to come from some drone or other's reproductive organs. This makes a lot of sense to me, because if they managed to assimilate everyone like they want to, where are they going to get new drones as the old ones age out anyway?
I also assumed that those babies were victims of assimilation in first stage maturation chambers.
The baby's could also have been removed from the mother during her assimilation and placed in the chamber, making the process of assimilation even more horrific. If the mother could be rescued, they might not be able to rescue the child.

Huh? Not that it matters either way, but...As such, anything our heroes say, unless directly contradicted at some point, is meant to be taken as What Is Really Going On. And the postulate put forth by Riker was that the baby was indeed Borg by birth. No rescue, no 'victim of assimilation', no nothing. The baby was born Borg, and will never know any other way.
Setting aside that he's just strolling around making casual speculations avout things he's seeing for the first time, where does he state that the Borg are "Born Borg"? It seems he says the opposite here. They are born like any other baby, then assimilated. He certainly doesn't say that the Borg have mating practices, or carry babies to term, etcRiker said:"Captain this is incredible. We've entered what appears to be the Borg nursery. From the look of it the Borg are born as biological life form. It seems that almost immediately after birth they begin artificial implants."

I guess their concept of perfection doesn't include aesthetic considerations.what i dont understand is that the Borg claim to seek perfection, but they look terrible. They've got wires hanging out everywhere, gadgets hanging off their bodies... It's like if you built a brand new house and left all the walls exposed

This also goes a long way to saying they aren't fully functioning humans anymore. Their skin, which is one of the human organs, almost looks necrotic. Isn't it reasonable to suggest that other biofunctions have ceased functioning as well? It's like they are just meat puppets with a few functioning organs, that are kept animated through some kind of sci-fi energy process? The Borg don't need food, just energy.
I assume this also means they don't generate waste.
Is there something specific that was said which would indicate that it was a healthy eye they removed? Just because she got assimilated with 2 healthy eyes doesn't mean they both stayed that way. Isn't it possible that it was only replaced after it became useless?Annika Hansen had two good eyes, yet the Borg gouged out one in order to install an ocular implant (something they never did with Locutus). So removal seemingly willy-nilly is certainly up their alley, and may cover both nilly and willy.
