BBC Hustle to end after season 8.

I'm sad but i suppose all good things and all that...it was also doing well in the ratings with about 7 million viewers.

Surprised BBC decided to end it before seeing season 8 ratings though I guess if the creator wants it to end then that changes things.

Pity. It can't go on forever, I suppose. I doubt Robert Vaughan has too much left in him, and I'd hate to have Hustle without Albert.

I think it's probably been a while coming, so I'm not too surprised. At the moment they can still go out close to the top, and hopefully go out while Vaughn is still with us, rather than having to suddenly explain away Albert's absence.

Interesting to note that the BBC page mentions it being the last series with "The current gang." so I wonder if the show might not be ressurected in a few years time with a new crew?

Plus there was talk of getting Danny and Stacy back and possibly doing a film wasn't there?
