BBC America Making Who Announcement Today

On BBCAmerica's website they have a teaser from the coming season showing the Doctor in the Old American West fighting some kind of Cowboy Cyborg. I think it looks great. I don't think they've visited the old west since the first Doctor. Oh, and the annoucement that the new companion is actress named Jeanna Louise Coleman.

Apparantly, in the EW fan poll, David Tennant came up as the favorite Doctor, beating out Matt Smith 59% to 16%. (According to http://www.kasterborous.com/2012/07/hes-still-number-one/ .)

I mean, I like Tennant OK and all, but how can these people be so blind to the transcendent madness that is Matt Smith. "I love a bit of rot. Just call me the Rotmeister. No, I'm called the Doctor. Don't call me the Rotmeister."
