Spoilers Batwoman - Season 1

I know they can do that. I mean it's their show. They can do anything they want. The only question is will it be successful. The first season was decent in terms of quality but the ratings are bad so they have to do something to shake things up. I think that was one of the reasons why they were happy to see her go. I think they see this as a chance to do something they didn't feel they could do with the old actress. Maybe something like alternate universe but it could also simply be for going for a different tone to the show so they want to bring in someone who will bring more humor to the role or maybe someone who is a better actor because they want to do more drama and less action.

And what are the ratings? The CW seems to operate under a different metric than other outlets.

It's a question of overhead.

They spend less money making and distributing their TV, so they can thrive on considerably less ad revenue than the Networks or Netflix subscriptions.

I heard it was their lowest rated Arrowverse show. I think The Flash is the highest rated. Use to be Legends was the lowest.

So, I finally saw the season finale.

Just a comment: What kind of fucking idiots stand in a circle and shoot into the center of it? They really need to fix this kind of shit in season two.

I'm going to miss Ruby Rose. I've enjoyed seeing what she brought to the table.

I'm hoping for the best in season two.

Lots - it's a fairly common trope.

There's even a term for it that I can't remember at this point.

While I am genuinely hoping for the best in season two, I must say that I am disappointing that even a Bruce lookalike is entering the show, especially this early in the series. I would have preferred no Bruce at all, real, fake, or otherwise.

Getting onboard the show in the first place was, at least in my case, about wanting to branch out away from the characters that had previously been explored on screen. Even the treatment of a fake Bruce will have direct implications for the real Bruce character, and as such is a step in the opposite direction from wherever I'd like it to go.

I'm fairly sure the plan originally was for the fake Bruce thing to be resolved by this season's finale and then next season was gonna be focused on Safiyah and the Many Arms of Death.

Bullet-nado?

It's called a crossfire. The dumbest thing about it is the guy in the middle ducks, and everyone around him shoot each other. Militaries and paramilitaries (and cops) are trained to avoid them like the plague.

I'm curious if they are going to stick with a white actress or not. Technically I would think they would have to since we've already cast white actors as both of Kate's parents and her twin. Since their mother hasn't been a huge part of the show, they could always recast her to match Kate's race. And before anybody says anything, I'm pretty sure I heard about a case where there were twins where one was white and one was black, so it's not impossible for twins to be two different races.
Ruby Rose posted a message to Instagram about leaving the show, she doesn't really say much though. The fact that she's being so vague about it, does make me wonder if there's more to her leaving than just the workload. If that was all that it was, I don't see why she talk about it.
