Spoilers Batwoman - Season 1

^ Riddler, Catwoman, and Joker are among those villains who we know escape Arkham (see "Elseworlds"), so they're very much potentially 'in play' to make Kate's words in tonight's episode about Bruce's enemies coming after her a reality.

I'm continuing to enjoy the slow roll out of this series and Mary's (?) Clark Kent'ish persona to cover up her secret clinic activities from her school and her folks. I predict she's going to be as fun as Kate Kane this year.

The only thing I miss from last year's "Elseworlds" are the vines growing in the Wayne building.

I like the new show, but could the writers be any more blatant that they think Heterosexual relationships are evil? Anyone on the show so far that has a Heterosexual relationship is either a Bad Guy or disappointing to the Main Character.

That being said, I'm not going to stop watching, of course.

The show does continue to get better, which is a good sign. Skarsten continues to delight - she really is giving the best Arrowverse performance in years. I was unimpressed with the Dudebro baddie. IDK if he's from the source material, but he felt really uninspired. And Mary is quickly becoming my favorite character on the show.

Pam is on cray-cray vaycay.

Not worth the Castle gif.

I mean by that logic the show also thinks all non-identical twin sisters are evil...so I'm just gonna go with "nope!"

I do feel a little sorry for the husband character though. I mean he really doesn't deserve to be treated like an idiot, even if I can't remember his name...

To tell the truth, from a numeric point of view in real life there are probably more evil hetero relationships than non-hetero ...

They did a decent job explaining why Kate adopts the distinct Batwoman persona, why it's important to differentiate herself from Batman in a clear and visually striking way. It seems the wig is a subtler shade of red than it was in Elseworlds, though.

Still not a lot of use for secret identities in the Arrowverse, is there? Alice and Batwoman know each other's IDs already, Tommy Elliot knows Bruce is Batman (and implicitly so does the Riddler)... how many other bad guys know the heroes' identities?

And they've deepened the mystery of why Bruce is gone. As they said, if he'd come back for anything, it would be for the theft of his weapon prototype.

Anyway, someone needs to talk to Luke about his abuses of the word "literal." First "That suit is literal perfection," now "This can shoot through literally anything" seconds before showing it can't shoot through the Batsuit.

Riddler was implied, but I am not seeing any information about DC-TV being able to use the Joker.

Jacob is the name you're looking for, and he is caught between a rock and a hard place, as he seems to be truly dedicated to law and order, yet he is surrounded by enemies: a wife working against him, a long lost daughter emerging as a terrorist, and another daughter not completely supporting his efforts. Until some other backstory is presented, at present, he is a completely sympathetic character.

My point was that we know these characters exist in the Arrowverse, which puts them in play if the show wants to use them and is given the green light to do so.

Pretty sure Reverend was talking about Sophie's husband, Tyler.

The absence of the vines is a true continuity error (as in a disruption of the physical continuity of production) because the crossover takes place after this episode.

Well the state of the office in general is also a continuity error because by this point in the series, Kate seems to have cleaned up (and is using at times) Bruce's office.

It's not a continuity error, Deegan just got some smudge on the Wayne Building page in the Book of Destiny and it temporarily created vines there which got removed again when reality set back to normal. :p
