Batmobile Owner's Manual?

Yeah it's okay...I chose not to buy it when I flipped through it. It has schematics and foldouts of the Jim Lee designed Batmobile which was the latest major redesign of the vehicle before the Bat-Hovermobile in Morrison and Quietly's first arc of "Batman and Robin".
Is it anything like a Haynes guide, with cutaways & the like?
No nothing like a Haynes Guide. It's a DK Published material.

Oh yeah. I've flipped through that at my local Barnes & Noble, I think. Obviously, I didn't find it especially memorable.

Yeah, if it was about the George Barris Batmobile or even the Tumbler, I'd be interested, but the car in this book is indeed quite forgettable.
True. If it was that I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
This is why I passed. I instantly disliked the Jim Lee Batmobile...the comic book Batmobiles in recent years have tended to be really ugly looking for some reason. It is no wonder that the films have gone and created their own versions because the source material has been suspect at best. I am partial as I mentioned to the new Hovermobile though that Dick and Damien use in "Batman and Robin". If they update this manual for 2012 in conjunction with the release of "The Dark Knight Rises" and include the Bathovermobile I'll be happy.
