Batman Live images

It looks like Joel Schumacher spread his ass cheeks and took a huge dump on the stage.

Except Schumacher's sensibilities were perfect for a stage show.

This looks like a fun way to kill an evening. Wonder where it'll be hitting when it comes to the US in 2012.

I think they look good. They are indeed quite faithful to the comic book incarnations of the characters. Ivy, Catwoman, Penguin and Joker are almost spot on to the current comic book portrayals and the others aren't that different either.

I think they are very reminiscent of the Schumacher-era costumes but I don't have a problem with that. This is a stage show. You'd expect the costumes to be flamboyant and snazzy; I prefer the Nolanverse in every way to Batman and Robin or Batman Forever but the muted outfits of that series would be totally unsuited for a stage show like this.

The show is playing in my city towards the end of the year. I'm trying to persuade my friend to bring his son and I'll bring my daughter; problem is, they'll only be 4 and it might be wasted on them. Maybe it's just one for the geeky dads.

I like all of the chicks' outfits. What kind of a show is this - it looks like a lot of fun.

I certainly can't think of a good reason that a stage show should look like the current Batman movies.

This is just... atrocious.

I'm puking through my laughter.

If this where to gain some media attention, it could destroy all the progress Begins and TDK made in repairing the damage of 'Batman and Robin' from the popular gestalt. There's no reason stage play needs to translate into costume stupidity.

The designs are fine for a stage show. You have to bear in mind that they have to be visible to people sitting far away.

The Batman one could pass for Bats ten years before 'Kingdom Come'.

Oh, Heaven forfend!

We don't want people having fun with comic book characters - there's no reason to create a career signing autographs at car shows for another Adam West.

I really like Catwoman's costume - very true to at least one of the recent comic book versions. And Poison Ivy is hot.
