Hey you guys did better than me. I made it about halfway through the first season.

Torchwood Series 4 destroyed any semblence of faith I had in Russell T. Davies as a writer. Was fun seeing John de Lancie in the Whoniverse though.

I'm not ready to give up on him yet. Its entirely possible that Series 4 was just a case of network interference.

He basically admitted the only reason Wizards vs. Aliens exists is to keep the Sarah Jane Adventures production crew employed. Not that a situation like that couldn't lead to something good but, I don't think they care. I remember the first story being garish.

That's slightly unfair - it was originally an idea to keep the production team together if production of SJA season 5b/6 had to be postponed until Elisabeth Sladen was well enough to return to work. Like doing the Spartacus prequel instead of season two in the hope that Andy Whitfield would recover from his illness.
