Mattel already did that to commemorate TOS's 30th Anniversary. The set has Barbie in a red miniskirt uniform and Ken in Command gold.

And yes, I do indeed have the set, still in the original packaging.

Gah. I don't like it when someone has to knock another fandom, either. I don't much care for the nuBSG, for example, but if other people enjoy it, more power to them. I don't see the need to start hypocritically bashing other people's hobbies.

Anyway, is knowing trivia about sporting matches going back to the 1930s, and dressing up in team colours, and stuff like that, any better than being a Trekkie, really? I don't think so.
