I'm just using it. Or that should be I'm attempting to use it. I'm not that computer savy and I seemed to manage the other two the company used but I think this ones going to do me in. :wtf:

The biggest change in my Dad after his surgery was he lost the nickname "Short fuse". He's now known as "No fuse". :lol:

I'll be goin' to check out Casino Royale on my next night off, whenever that may be, since my schedule is kinda up in the air for the next couple of weeks.

In other news, I picked up my own copy of Syriana - Widscreen Edition DVD at Circuit City tonight, for only $6.99, plus tax. I rented this one a couple of weeks ago, and thought it was pretty good, so now, I own a copy.

I also picked up Boston Legal - Season Two at Best Buy tonight. Love this show!
 
Hi guys,

It's been a while since I've posted in this thread, but I'm glad it's still going. I am home this Thanksgiving (Not still on my campus) and today I'm taking off. I came home last night because I had to call to see if I was going to Jury Duty today, and I only miss one class, which I'm doing really well in. I'm glad I don't have jury duty today, so I just decided to play Farris Bueller and start Thanksgiving weekend early. ;)

I saw Casino Royale last week and it was a very good movie. It was the best one since Goldeneye and Craig was a pleasent surprise. Much like the Batman series, I'm looking forward to the new Bond movie.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving. This really is one of my favorite holidays of the year and it's sad that it gets ignored because Christmas is next.
 
By gar, it's been a while since i posted here. I'm here using the computers at work. My friend recently got kicked out of her parent's house because of some bull shit really, so she's moving into a mutual friend of our's house. So i volunteered to go help her clean that room on my day off. I have GOT to stop being so nice. :p

I may get online on a regular basis sometime in the next month. DH is going to see how much it would cost to ship his old CPU and a monitor. So all i will have to do is pay for the S&H and get a keyboard, since i already have an optical mouse. Yay.

i don't know if the pardoned birds are at disneyland every year, but yeah, it is corny.
 
I'm another person who hasn't been here in a while. Life was different without the internet working at home, but now seems okay. Currently watching the cricket.
 
Yeah I haven't posted in here in while as well. Well, not much is going on right now. My dad's doing well. I even took him shopping yesterday (he's not allowed to drive). :)
 
Hey guys,

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and day after. I spent mine with family, but it was at a restuarant and the food, while decent, left a lot to be desired. The good news is that I'm having another semi-thanksgiving dinner tomorrow night so I do get a Turkey leg instead of slices of meat.

Today was spent working on a term paper (doing the research on the Black Panther Party) and continuing a thanksgiving tradition by putting up a Christmas tree for the house. We bought a new artificial tree this year and it is nice. I wish I had plans tonight, but it sucks when all my friends are pretty much in Southern California and the one friend here doesn't return my calls. He might be working, but I really wish I wasn't in the house tonight. Oh well.

I've not done it all day, but I've been watching a lot of Trek on this break (TNG). I'm trying to see an episode a season before I go back, and I have still season 2, 4, and 7 to go. I know what the episodes will be for 4 and 7 (I'm doing the whole Traveler story since I saw WNOHGB) last night, but not sure what 2 will be. Maybe Elementary, Dear Data, which I haven't seen in a long time, and they get out of their uniforms which is always nice.

It's been a pretty good weekend though. Glad to be home spending the holidays with family, but now it's time to get back into preparing for finals.

I just got home from seeing Casino Royale and I have to say, I absolutely loved it. I was really hyped about it, so I was afraid I might not like it as much (cos of my high expectations) but yeah, I thought it was just awesome. I actually plan to see it again. :D
 
Well, gwud and i are corresponding on a pretty regular basis now. Every few days, we exchange emails. i won't go so far as to say that something might happen, but at least we are friends, so that's an important first step.
 
It seems another wasted weekend is almost over. What did I achieve? Not much offline. Online, resumed a few things here, and almost more importantly began messing around with CSS. Hopefully sometime soon, I'll get my website up, like I did months ago. Watched lots of sport on TV also.
 
Hello all.

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm just studying for Finals, which for me start Wednesday and end Thursday afternoon. Can't wait till Thursday night so I can hang out with friends for the last time before I go home for Christmas on Friday.

Well i would think so yeah, since even the fixtures are for sale.
