As much as Jadzia Dax was a collection of lives, who primarily loved Worf? Was it Jadzia herself of an underlying personality?

Emony, Audrid, Torias, Curzon and evening Joran all possess very stern Klingon qualities while Lela and Tobin share Worfs’ human like qualities.

As much as J-Dax is an amalgamation of all of these, who do you see as the front runner?

She's a nice chunky soup, with vegetables and meat. You can take out a piece and examine it, but the soup remains.

If Worf had been on the station during Jadzia's zhian'tara, which host would have fallen in love with Worf? I say none of them. Only Jadzia's unique mix was the right fit. Even when Ezri Dax was new and confused, she quickly realized that she was acting on old memories, and was not in love with Worf any more. ...Because she was not Jadzia Dax.

Doesn’t that insinuate that the only one who doesn’t love Worf is Ezri? If the ‘soup’ loved him and now the ‘soup’ doesn’t, the only difference is one individual. Besides, isn’t the theory that Dax maintains the memories of multiple individuals?

Yes. I understand quite well the point you are making. I’m approaching it from a more logical standpoint being that the seperate hosts comprise the amalgamation you are referring to. For instance, if Jadzia, every other host and Dax itself had no affection for Worf - there would be no attraction at all. If the combination of Jadzia Dax loved Worf but the combination of Jadzia Dax plus Ezri didn’t then that is revealing something poignant.

At any rate, don’t mistake my posts for trying to convince you. I’m not. I was just curious to why you saw things as you did.

Ezri Dax isn't just Jadzia Dax + Ezri Tigan. Ezri Dax is new soup, made from all the previous ingredients plus one new one, but the end result is a different mixture. The parts mingle and combine in new and unexpected ways.
