For me, the sad truth is, perhaps partly due to bad scripting, the guy can't act. He and the dude that played Reed are a couple of the worst actors I've ever watched. I know trek is famous for it's bad acting but thoes two made me cringe and i never experienced that, not even watching TOS.
I used to have to convince my bf to watch enterprise with me and he reluctantly would, sometimes even enjoy a show or two, but every time it was called apon SB to act with a little more emotion than usual it was ni on impossible to stop my bf from switching the channel over. damn annoying!
