I thought it was pretty funny in DSC when Burnham is getting all self-righteous and goody-goody about the Empire, calling them "painted rust" and all that crap. I'm like, what would they say about HER?

I don't' believe so. They're just more sensitive to light because Stars are dimmer for whatever reason.
