When was William Hurt good in anything? He was barely passable in Lost in Space & Vantage Point. He was the worst thing about the Sci-Fi Channel's Dune miniseries. Please recommend some movies that will help rehabilitate William Hurt's reputation with me.
The Big Chill, Children of a Lesser God, Broadcast News, A History of Violence, The Good Shepard, as well as several stage performances (mostly Shakespearean productions).
And don't forget he won an Oscar for Kiss of the Spider Woman!
Sphere. I hated that movie- but it had Dustin Hoffman, Samuel L. Jackson, Sharon Stone, and Liev Schreiber, so I expected so much more. Queen Latifah was in it, too, but didn't do much.
