Now a man in Florida has blamed his cat for the fact that his computer was stuffed up with child porn. Bad Kitty!

So... apart from all the obvious ones (staring at the dog when you fart - stuff like that) what's the most outrageous buck-pass you ever tried/failed/heard of?

Not the most outrageous but my 32 year old son still blames his chronic unemployment on the fact that his grandmother refused to buy a car for him when he asked her to about 10 years ago.

Not the most outrageous but my 32 year old son still blames his chronic unemployment on the fact that his grandmother refused to buy a car for him when he asked her to about 10 years ago.

I went though this. Many employers will not hire you unless you have a car. So not having a car isn't a cop-out on his part. Well it might be but it a contributing factor.

Right. If you live in a region with a developed Public Transport system then there is no excuse. Most employers will be understanding.

Around here no such luxury exists and if you lack a car there must be something wrong with you.
