Babylon 5

Sorry, but I don't like Apple or iTunes.

I want a "Official Physical Blu-Ray Disc" release.

Same here. I want to be able to watch it when I want... not be at the mercy if a streaming service having it one month and getting bounced around to somewhere else that I don't have access to.

Plus, bonus features.

Both reasons are precisely why I will ALWAYS prefer dvds.

Another vote against Apple and iTunes, as well as the idea I should be content with streaming and online services to access my favorite shows and films that could vanish when an asshole exec decides to save money and hide the product.

Yes, the remaster is in HD. 1432x1072 on iTunes, 1440x1080 on most other sites. I don't know why the difference, but it's hardly noticeable. Within that resolution the live action is true HD, and the FX are upscaled from SD.

If you previously bought the non-remastered version somewhere, most places upgraded you to the remaster in SD. So that may be what you're seeing now. But you can pay again to get it in 1080p HD.

I haven't used Itunes in a while, but they at least used to let you download stuff you buy. I used to buy stuff and burn it to discs or flash drives all the time.
I still buy stuff on Amazon, and I just checked and they let you download all of your purchases.

The rules are different between music and video. iTunes purchased music is DRM-free, and you can burn it or copy it or whatever you want, but purchased videos still have DRM, and even if you have the files on your hard drive, you may not be able to play them if you get a new account or something, or the Amazon/Apple servers go down at some point as computing technology evolves, and you can no longer log in to the system and authorize a computer to play stuff purchased on your account.

Doesn't matter to me. I have a very special loathing for iTunes and I'm no fan of Apple.

And I don't buy from Amazon anymore.

Oh, OK maybe it was just the music I had downloaded onto discs then.

I'm only the messenger...

Yeah, I know. Sorry for the confusion, I wasn't trying to blame you. My bad.

It does sound like a threat, but you weren't the one making the threat. Some pinko Danish politician was. And of course it doesn't have a chance in hell of ever coming true. So what should I be worried about...nothing, really.

Oddly enough, a very high degree of leveraging is how some billionaires live.
