Morden is always a character that I am character I am pleased to see. His first appearance was a bit ho-hum IMO, but he really took off from there.
Probably from the scenes in which he appears among the bushes. LOL. I can understand how, and it's humorous. It's possible, you know, to both appreciate and laugh at ourselves, Mr. Morden, and Mr. Wasser without the ad hominems.I have no idea where you got that other mental image from.
I ran into that too. I even returned one of the broken ones, and got a second broken one.I know. I just hope sooner rather than later.
I also want to comment on the HORRIBLE design of the DVD case. WTF? I bought it new and it's already broken, just fell apart. The only design that was worse, was Star Trek.
Probably akin to a high-powered magnifying glass. Remember, the Minbari are ahead of us technologically. And given the high amount of crystal on their planet, there are probably lots of ways they use them.Like what the hell is that power beam in the ancient temple? Just open up the ceiling, and there it is?
You're probably not aware of this since I'm pretty sure it only came up in the pilot movie, but Lyta isn't the only person with gill implants: G'Kar has them too.I have finished Moments of Transition. Walter Koenig is really doing an excellent job as Bester. Or should I call him Al? Some wonderful humor filled moments. More and more I am convinced that Garibaldy is being used by Bester as a sort of Manchurian candidate. I'm ready for the episode where Lyta goes under water and uses her gills. I guess there are some things you have to just ignore/accept without explanation. Like what the hell is that power beam in the ancient temple? Just open up the ceiling, and there it is?
"There's a hole in your mind." That line from The Gathering had me hooked on the series.I have not seen the pilot movie, but when I do my re-watch I'll watch it first. Also I am looking forward to the commentaries. I have avoided them because they contain spoilers.
It depends on where you are. Most places the DVD version *is* the TNT cut (AKA the 'special edition') . AFAIK, it's only the German release on DVD is the original version. And if you watch it on Amazon streaming (and possibly Hulu and others) it's also the original. But for the most part, the TNT version with the Christopher Franke score is the one that's mostly available.I'm embarrassed to say I never saw the TNT cut of The Gathering until a few years ago.
I didn't know about any of the changes. and had always assumed the DVD was the original.
I'm female, thanks for asking. But I realize my name is male in many parts of the world so I never take offense if somebody gets it wrong. Too bad the gender indicators didn't make the move with the new system. They were handy at times.Jan seems to be the B5 expert, I'm curious, are you a guy or a girl?
