Babylon 5 viewing order

I'd say that beyond the fact that it has four engines and a nose it looks nothing like the X-Wing. Totally different silhouette, totally different aesthetic character.

Actually, if memory serves I think modern US fighter jets were the main source of inspiration. The mandate IIRC was to make a new, more formidable variant of the starfury capable of operating in an atmosphere. So the addition of aerofoils and a fuselage with a second seat are all logical modifications given the "real world" limitations put on Earth designs.

I always felt that the original model of Starfury, the MK-4, tends to resemble the gunstars from "The Last Starfighter" more than anything else.

Yeah. Best to stick to memory rather than referring to stuff that you know exists. ; )

@ Neroon. Your dead on with that feeling about the Last Starfighter for the original, but the link with Terminator 2 wasn’t known until recently.

In Universe there was also a link with the Raider fighter and the Starfuries . . . . . supposedly.

why was'nt marcus used in third space?

The movies had limited budgets so they could only afford so many main cast members each. Sam reason there's no Londo, G'Kar, Lennier or Garibaldi even though they were all probably on the station.

when they took out the second vorlon during the episode "falling toward apotheosis"
why did'nt it look angelic like kosh did when he saved sherridan?

Yeah, the Angelic form is a projection. In "Falling", you're seeing what a Vorlon really looks like.

when loreian and the vorlons and shadows and all the first one's left what happened to loreian's ship was still at babylon 5? and why were they looking for the first one's in crusade for the drak plauge if they all left during the shadow war?

According to Fiona Avery (the official keeper of B5 continuity) Lorien sent his ship back to Z'ha'dum just after arriving on the station.

cool thanks for I was just curious who he was and I had seen the blooper reel on youtube of that scene. just about done with season 4. up next "Intersections in real time". During the war aginst earth any Idea what happened with the isn reporter that was working with clarke?

I just got threw watching legend of the rangers and I was wondering what type of ships were the vailin and the leandra <(if that's the right spelling)?

Everything known about those ships is right there in the dialogue. The Valen was a one off prototype Human/Minbari tech hybrid ship, while the Leandra was an older Earth-Minabri War era "attack ship." I suppose if you had to pin a class to it, it'd be something akin to a corvette or possibly more like a PT Boat crossed with a hunter-killer sub.

Tell you what though, instead of asking random questions every time you watch an episode, how about you try looking stuff up on the B5 wiki ;)
