Hyperspace05's continued reaction to this film and it's marketing campaign is somewhat amusing. Aldo hit it on the head, people WANT to see the posters we are getting of the "secondary" characters. Coulson has become more than cult hero though, he is genuine fan favourite character. Not to mention the fact that Joss has stated he is by far his favourite character to write in the movie, and had to force himself to not give him increased lines. I'm still waiting for the Maria Hill poster who is no flunkie either. :)

I don't know if it counts or not, but she was on the Nick Fury poster. I'm a big fan of Cobie Smulders from How I Met Your Mother, so I wouldn't mind seeing her on her own poster/

I'm of course talking about getting her own poster. Or if not, I'd like to see the three Shield agents together on a poster.

I could have sworn I saw one somewhere, but comingsoon.com and IGN didn't have one, so I guess I was mistaken.

That scene looks great to me. The description of it leaked online at the turn of the year.

Uh... no. You know those parodies where someone slaps someone else, and you can tell that the actors hand was nowhere close to the others face? Yeah, that's what we see here. 'ScarJo' headbutt impacts are about 3 ft away from the other actors. Then we come to the CG chair flip. :guffaw:

This is a prime example of my problem with casting 'ScarJo'. She doesn't look like she can hurt a fly. But hey - we see some boob jiggle in the fight, and that is supposed to make it a awesome.

Is this really what passes for a good fight with you guys? Really?

Um, with the phone gag it's pretty obvious this was just supposed to be a fun little reintroduction to her character, playing off of the old "tied up in a chair" cliche.

I really doubt they were going for some kind of brilliantly original fight sequence here (and in fact that likely would have ruined the joke).

Personally I thought it was a lot of fun.

Barton. as in Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye.

and the best bit is Coulson lsitening to the ruckus completely calmly, not asking what's going on or pulling odd faces like most people would.

I don't know about you, but my enjoyment of a movie is not decided in one fight scene. But, then I don't openly nitpick apart such scenes in quality movies in an attempt to ruin them for others.

Other than the headbutt not looking totally synched up the whole sequence works.

I agree with whoever said it but Coulson just listening with out any facial anxiety about her situation is great. It totally sells the "she's got this" attitude he has about her as a top notch field agent.
