Saw the Avengers on Imax today.
The movie is fantastic. The way it brings the other Marvel movies together, the humour is spot-on and of course the action is hectic.
Loki's use of the word quim
I didn't know whether to burst out crying or stand up and applaud in the Loki hostage scene and a movie Hulk I actually like, still not sure a separate Hulk movie would work, better in an assembles.
I wonder if he'll be in Iron Man 3? Stark and Banner were very pally in the movie, and they did drive off together at the end
I can't help but think this surge of pre-sales coincides within a day(or so) of the limited overseas openings. If the comments in this thread from those here are duplicated about the 'net then it's got to be fueling this some I think. Hype breeds hype.Just over a week until the release of MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS, MovieTickets.com, the leading global provider of remote movie ticketing, is already showing tremendous domestic pre-sales of the highly anticipated film.
MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS is pre-selling more tickets for the upcoming release than the online ticketing company sold for CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER, THOR, IRON MAN 2, and IRON MAN combined at the same point in the sales cycle for each film. In fact, pre-sales of MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS is over one and a half times that of these past Marvel films combined sales at the same point in the sales cycle.

I sure as hell hope so.
Just came back from the movie. Ohmygod, I didn't know they could be this good.

God I really hope my theater will have a decent number of 2D showings for this. I'm not a 3D hater by any means, but this movie already look PLENTY cool and epic enough as is.
