Hoping that this bodes well for Cheadle's further involvement with Marvel. If they want Ultron to rack up a body count of notable characters, I fear for his version of Rhodey.

And if Tony is responsible for Ultron's creation it would amp up the emotional stakes to have Ultron kill Rhodey. It could also serve as the catalyst that gets Tony back in action as Iron Man. If Rhodey appears there's a good chance he's a goner.

Of course in the comics when things got really, really bad for Rhodey he was turned into a part cyborg essentially and then a clone body was made for him.....so, hey everything is in play I suppose. Clone body=new actor for next IM film

I like Cheadle as Rhodey/War Machine and I think it's fine that he'll return in Age of Ultron. I would like to know what Joss Whedon plans to do with the characters of Henry Pym and Janet Van Dyne.

This could be very good news for Cheadle...last time that happened, the guy being avenged got a TV spin-off.

I'm pretty sure they won't be in the movie, since they want to get the solo movie off the ground first. If anything I bet we see them show up in Avengers 3.

I like Cheadle too but I think Cuba Gooding Jr would've been a more obvious re-cast for Howard.
