Avengers 2 News, Rumors, Etc. Pictures until release...

At last, the motherfuckin' Vision.

That is letterboxing fail.

That's YouTube's shaky-cam correction. Someone at Marvel applied it to their official trailer.

Anyway, nice to see the Avengers will fight an army of generic drones ... again.

Well, one can hardly expect them to be making speeches to the UN.

Ultron using other versions of himself as fodder is from the comics.

Yup, the drone army turned up way back in the first reveils of the film, Tony just ramping them out to give the Avengers some time off, let the robots do it.

Just another fallout from his obsessive period around the time of Iron Man 3.

Well, one can hardly expect them to be making speeches to the UN.

Oh I'm sure audiences would love the 15 hour long extended edition with that added. ;)

Oh, I get that, I'm just saying that The Avengers had the team battling an army of generic drones (after fighting with each other), and now Avengers 2 will have the team battling ... an army of generic drones (after fighting with each other).

I realize it may seem like repetition, but it's the Avengers. They are a group of superheroes assembled to fight the BIG bad guys, which means uniting against a ridiculously overpowered villain or a ridiculously overpowered villain with an army, and because it's the modern era and we all like our good guys to be tragically flawed in some way, there has to be a fight or angst or disagreement that the heroes overcome before kicking butts and taking names. It's formulaic, but so is Coca-Cola and on a hot summer's day, an ice cold Coke and a fun superhero movie are very appealing.

All the destruction porn that destruction porn! Why didn't Superman take the fight out of the city?!

Oh wait, wrong movie and universe. Lmao. I wonder if the the people who cast aspersions on MOS for it's violence in civilian ares will be throwing stones at Avengers too.

I enjoyed both movies. I didn't have many problems with Superman's actions (I thought the destruction of the ship exactly at that point of time may have been a bit hasty and done through anger, but much of the destruction was not attributable to him). That being said, I think we need to see the movie as a whole rather than a trailer to truly judge (and Tony Stark is generally seen as more of a flawed character than Superman anyway).

Or this has been how they've done it in the comics forever now. And the movies are just catching up.

Guys, I've avoided ALL the trailers after the first one for AoU since I don't want to be spoiled but I have one question.

Is War Machine back to being black and gray, or is he still using the lame red and blue suit? :)

That was a great trailer. It was nice to get a clearer look at the story, and a very brief look at The Vision. I have to admit, it's starting to look like James Spader might finally be giving us another Marvel villain who could be as good as, or at least close to, Tom Hiddleston's Loki.
