Avatar: Seven Havens - October 9, 2026

From theories I'm seeing online.

So from the lore we know there's seven Chakras, and each of them have a colour.

Each Haven just happens to be represented by one of those seven colours in the title sequence. That's probably no coincidence.

The first one is the Earth Chakra, it is red, it deals with survival and is blocked by Fear

The red anomaly and what it left behind is causing people to feel great fear.

Team Avatar is probably going to travel to each Haven in the order of the Chakras.
I was about to post the thought I just had of Seven Havens / seven chakras.

Running theory: Asami was trying to remove Vaatu from Korra & Raava, and re-imprison him, but it all went sideways when he fought back. That would explain the Future Industries facility under Ellora, and the anomaly would be the after-effects/residue of the process. Maybe the extraction got messy and the red bismuth crystal stuff is mostly Vaatu, but also parts of Raava and the Avatar, and parts of Vaatu remain with Raava & Vaatu. It would track that sundering the great spirits of cosmic balance would wreak sheer havoc on the world.

Still not sure how the chakras, havens, and the Avatar spirit are connected, but they clearly are somehow. I suspect we'll find that all of the havens are build over or around Asami's old facilities, and each played some part in the attempt. Maybe the plan was to pull Vaatu apart into the seven aspects of the chakras, and achor them in the physical work? That way he could no longer form a coherant maglignant entity, but still present enough to passively maintian the cosmic balance?
That would also explain why the Havens are where they are; each is in an eye of a storm created right beneath their feet.

Clearly the glimpse we saw of Korra going nuts in the avatar state is sorely lacking in context. Given that we know one of the havens is called "Republic Forest", it stands to reason what we actually saw was Korra forging Republic City into the first Haven. Still a lot of questions, but I'm enjoying the mystery!

Oh and in case anyone missed it and/or was for some odd reason still in doubt that Korrasami is a thing: in the mover, both Korra and Asami are wearing water tribe betrothal necklaces. So pretty sure they got married.

Korra appeared to be ripping pipes (spirit energy conduits?) from the buildings.

The room with the lockers, I guess was for a bending area? There was pro-bending gear and posters in there (at least a poster for the Fire Farrets)

Surprised the car in the "mover" looked so modern but the police car so old-fashioned. Reused asset as cost-saving measure?
