attention girls: embrace your inner...

There was more than one, but not enough for anyone but me to really notice.

Yeah, I know. My sis and my DH both started going gray early in life, but both of them have really black hair. I don't. It used to be blonde; now it's just sort of hair-colored -- a generic light to medium brown

It was just something I wasn't expecting for another 10 years or so. <sigh>

Please don't give Crusher Disciple a reason to hurt you.

My aunt went totally white by the time she was 25. I have an occasional silver hair, but I'm a few years away from having to color it (according to my hairdresser!).

Please don't give Crusher Destroyer of Worlds a reason to hurt you, either. :vulcan:

My mom refuses to go gray. She is coloring her hair and I think she plans to until the day she dies... no pun intended.
I don't know how I feel about gray hair yet. My dad's mom grayed nicely.

 You won't hurt me. ;)

It's such a silly thing to be upset about. It was just the shock of it, really.

Meh, I found my first grey hair at age 15. I'm now probably 70% white/30% brown now.

Now, you wanna talk about trauma and shock? Try finding a grey hair somewhere else!! :wtf:

 :o

i'm so not going to think about that.

i've had random white hairs since like middle school. my dad's hair was mostly white when he was my age, so i guess it's good i have some of my mom's hair genes. :p

:p :p

If you try anything, remember that I have David Tennant tied up in my basement.

Hell, I've had silver hairs since I was what, 27? I have quite a few now but they don't bother me anymore. I hope my hair goes a nice shade of grey like my ma's did.

I had Toxic Death Cramps tm today. I was at the maul and I wanted to double over and moan. Gods, I hate being female sometimes. What's killer is, I aint even bleeding yet though it's imminent.

I was uh...23 I think. Three of them, all named for CSI characters, and holding (for the moment only, I realize). Gil, Sara, and Catherine all say that May has nothing to worry about. Or, at least, they would say that, if they weren't in a landfill somewhere from being plucked. ;)

My mother and her mother both have salt-and-pepper hair. On down the road, I intend to have salt-and-pepper roots. I'm totally with May20 on this one, except in cases like the Emmylou Harris look where it's all silver or cases where there are some interesting variations in tone.

So, what color are you going with, May? Your original or something else?

I have two shades to choose from right now -- a dark blonde, the one I bought on sale, and an auburn, which I've used in the past and really like. Both are very close to my natural colr, so no sudden shocks. ;)

I switched to the new Dove Pro-Age shampoo/conditioner the day before I found the gray hairs. Coincidence? I think not. :vulcan:

;)

Lol I started getting the odd silver when I was 19. I have redhead genes so my hair should be black, instead its brown with ginger tones so it goes silver instead of just white.

Its over to the left, on the brow mainly, the older I get the more likely it is I'll have a silver streak like Rogue only natural, with mostly light brown hair on the rest of my head lol.

It was a shock when I first found out it was possible... :o :o :o

^Man, was that a thread killer? I'm watching my niece today! My mom has a very nasty cold, so she can't watch the baby. Maddie and I have watched "The Incredibles" and last night we watched "Transformers: The Movie."

^^ Shouldn't your niece's parents be watching her at some point? :p

I start my summer job on Monday, I'm slightly (okay, very) worried.

Nah, it wasn't a thread killer. A thread sedation, maybe, but not a killer. ;)

What kind of work are you doing this summer, Toresica?

My job title is "engineering student".

I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to tell people, but I'm supposed to be doing environmental assessment. "Mostly number-crunching", says by boss. (I won't know the details until Monday).
