I went to see this movie this afternoon.
It was pretty good, good action, Charlize Theron is amazing in it in look and action and stunts but...
This is one of those cases where the trailers for the movie are MASSIVELY misleading. The trailers might lead one to believe this is "Jane Wick" a pretty much non-stop action and blood fest with a fierce blonde woman kicking ass and taking names all for some vague purpose.
And while the movie does have a good bit of action and well-done, intense, action. This is more "Mission: Impossible" (the first movie) than John Wick. And by that I mean it's more of an intrigue/sup/espionage type movie with a convoluted, twisting and even seemingly contradictory plot that's hard to follow. A lot happens in this movie and there's a lot of crosses and plot points that you can miss and easily get lost.
So I may say it's worth seeing for the action pieces, but go in expecting to have to pay a lot more attention than you'd expect.
