Thanks. If they haven't by now, then they are not likely too.Such awesome arts hope someday they hire you to make ships for them![]()
Thanks.Your Andromeda-class is lovely, @Atolm. Very elegant. It reminds me of the constellation Cygnus. And the configuration of your Archer-class is intriguing - vertical nacelles are the new black!
Speaking of nacelles, those of your Ares-class are very sleek.
Indeed XDThe Archer-class is what I envision the Asgard (SG-1) would build for Starfleet.![]()
I believe it is how you approach it. For me when I design a ship, I look at it from 4 parts:Nacelles are the toughest things to draw.
Thanks!I love the Maddox android. The Archer reminds me somewhat of the Asgard SG1 ships. And I like the Ares sketches.
Thanks.That TOS warship is sexy.
Thanks a lot!Loving that Dreadnought—the only one that looked sleek
Thanks. More to come.Abso-friggen-lutely amazing work, Atolm!
I remember this one.Thanks.
I wound up only getting a refined Side-view completed:

Thanks... You should see more as this thread continues...I like the Connie 3rd from the bottom—quite rakish
Very sexy!I remember this one.
You posted this view ages ago by itself and I was inspired to dinked around in Sketchup on a version—minus the pass-through nacelles—that was more of a Excelsior-shaped ship with the same engine arrangement as that ship (I really liked the 'cab-forward' bridge and sensor placement suggested by this view).
Then you posted other views and I moved on to other things.
I'll look around this week and see if I still have those files on one of my portable hard-drives.

This is what I imagined based on that side view, the Excelsior's baby brother:

As you know I did, but at the time of this posting, I had no idea... So just a happy coincidence I would say.@Atolm, did you see this month’s Art Forum Challenge? This one could be a homerun for you, actually.![]()
