Astra's VOY action figures in action

I recognize that X-Files movie pod! :D

That's exactly what it is! Good eyes ;)
Great substitute for how they woke up in the beginning of "Resolutions". I love re-using stuff like that!

Oh my goodness! I love Tom’s retro room! That lava lamp! It lights up?!? So cool! The superhero figurines! The heart pillow! My hipster taste is delighted by the turntable and records and the boombox appeals to my nostalgia for my eighties childhood! (Can you call yourself a hipster for buying music on specially colored vinyl releases if you actually remember when it was standard for all albums to come on vinyl?)

Harry has a clarinet! Tom does totally strike me as someone who noodles around on a guitar to impress the ladies but I feel like he never applied himself to learn more than the basic chords. Maybe when he got older… now I’m picturing him looking like RDM embarrassing Miral by serenading her with the classic nineties hit “Butterfly Kisses.” :)

That lava lamp was a keyring once, I just removed the keyring. Yes, it has a little battery inside and goes though all kinds of different colors. I HAD to buy it, I love buying such things!

LOL I never had any specialy colored vinyl records but my father had some that were not hardplastic, more like soft rubber, they were included for free in magazines! You could really play them.

I also once saw a documentary about Beatles fans in Russia, they made their own records by copying the music to X-ray sheets!

If you like Tom's room, I have one more for you - this is a scene from the episode "Memorial" when B'Elanna replicated this old-fashioned TV:

I watched that episode and realized that exactly this TV had once come with a Doctor Who figure.

And some more J/C shipping pictures.

Yes. I do have famous statues as action figures. Why do you ask?

If I saw one, I’d have to buy it too! How cool!

That’s fascinating! I never heard of that before!

Very cool re-use of the vintage TV!

It was meant to be! I sometimes buy stuff for no particular reason and then a long time later find a use for it. I love that.

Another Janeway/Chakotay story (yes, I have lots of them, sorry ;) ) - I made this as an illustration for a fanfiction which I liked very much. In it when they are back home, Chakotay built an easel for Kathryn so she can paint.

And also this - in the episode "Unimatrix Zero" Chakotay asks if Janeway wants anything done while she's gone, and mentions cleaning the carpet. Well, I couldn't resist that ;)

Also, my figures like to play with even tinier figures!

I love them all! Making the easel is a top-tier romantic gesture.

Cleaning the carpet is a great scene and you know, if he actually did see a stain, he might actually have done it just as a little pick-me-up as they recovered from a pretty exhausting fight. Chakotay has a good sense of humor.

Love the even smaller dolls! Adorable!

Oh my goodness! The way you posed B’Elanna and Tom! Swoon-worthy! So sweet! Love Chakotay’s hand on Janeway’s shoulder too! Everyone else is looking great too!

Oh but if you have a bridge AND an engineering set, then you NEED to go and take some pictures! It's the law! ;)
Have some fun!

I agree, one figure is not much, but still there is lots that you can do with him. Some people take their figures / plushies wherever they go and take pictures there, travelling, or just drinking coffee at Starbucks.

If you're on Twitter, here is someone who takes her little Riker everywhere. For some inspiration!

Thank you! I later also added mutant Tom Paris including salamander babies and B'Elanna as a Klingon ;)
I did get Seven eventually as well but since she is very expensive these days I got a cheap one that somebody had painted blue and re-did the paint.

I thought nobody would ever ask ;)
They are made by Triple Fiction Productions. This is the place to go:

https://triple-fictionproductions.net/onlinestore.html#!/Intrepid-Class/c/151513290

There is a whole sickbay set and also more bridge pieces, even with electronics if you want to spring for that. The link goes to page 1 of 2 so make sure to check both. In the store there are also other ship classes (aka other Star Trek shows).

Don't worry if an item is marked as sold out. Just put your address on the "notify me" to get an alert and so the guy knows what is most in demand and what to make next. I could also link you to the Facebook page where it's always annouced what goes next up for ordering. But as soon as they come in they fly out of the window again so you have to be quick!

Posting my pictures I will go in order though, otherwise I'll confuse myself. So next we will have some shippy scenes for the J/C shippers. I bought this tiny coffee pot many years if not decades ago. It seemed very fitting:

And I never can resist putting someone into a sickbay bed. We know how touchy Kathryn is!

The only character missing is Q, complete with bigger coffee cup!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The last picture is when I accidentally knocked everything over, but you also could see it as the aftermath of the party ;)

And some more random pictures:

I got these nice cakes so of course had to do a scene with them.

And I also got this. I think it is called love seat? It reminded me of the Voyager command chairs, with the console in between.

Tuvok is saying

"May I point out, Captain, that this seating arrangement is a so called 'love seat' and I strongly advise finding another place to rest to not give a wrong impression."

Janeway & Chakotay: "Shut up, Tuvok!"

And this was done for a friend. She said she always almost sets the kitchen on fire when she is cooking so her husband has forbidden her to do it. Which reminded me of Janeway... in an alternative universe, she gets rescued by a good looking firefighter ;)

Quite a Thanksgiving feast you have given us @Astra! I love miniature food, especially cakes. I buy them with no real plan other than cooing over their cuteness.

Love Neelix getting to show off his culinary prowess (I feel sorry for how little he is appreciated when he’s trying his best with lacking supplies). Also love the meet cute for Janeway and Chakotay with that frisson of danger.

Yes! I did own miniature stuff way long before I started with figures! It's just all so cute and realistic looking. Sometimes I do go through my stash and let me inspire what to use for pictures.

I do love Neelix. In the beginning I found him odd but I came to love him over time. Especially in the episode where Tuvok had lost his memories. He will be the last one in 12" I need to buy, then the team will be complete.

I have a Thanksgiving aftermath, newly made ;)

The third picture is my favorite, love Seven and B’Elanna tussling and Tom and Harry taunting each other.

I had trouble to keep them standing in some kind of action pose, as they kept falling down, so I figured, why not use that ;)

Today is the 1st of Advent! Happy 1st of Advent.

Three years ago I made a picture to celebrate the 1st of Advent and then learnt that my friends in other countries do not all celebrate that. So on the last four Sundays until Christmas we light first one, then two, then three and then four candles on the wreath.

So let me know - do you know this custom and do you celebrate it in your country? I'm always happy to learn!

We also got snow in Germany right now! These are also from some years ago.

Not sure why I never gave them speech bubbles. Basically, the holodeck is broken and Chakotay tells Tom to fix it.

Then Tom tells the waiting people it will take some time yet.

But that's because he does not WANT to fix it ;) Wheee!

I had made these over the course of several weeks. Whenever the weekend arrived, new snow came, I got a new idea and then some days later it thawed away until next weekend.

My family celebrates Advent with an Advent wreath and candles but I think it’s very contingent upon your religion whether you celebrate Advent or not in the USA.

Tom looks like he’s having such fun!

Interesting, thanks for telling me! My family is not very religious, as it happens with being raised in former East Germany. We never went to church or anything. But celebrating Advent and Christmas etc. is just so common, everyone does it around here.

I'm a J/C shipper, and I approve these vignettes!
Thank you! In that case, let's see if we can add some more for you ;)
How about a contest who decorates the best gingerbread house?

The weird colorful one?

The more classical one?

Or the technical one?

When I posted these last year I did a poll among my friends and Tom and Harry won ;)

And some more winter fun:

Kathryn fell!

But Chakotay picked her up and carried her home.

Oh how romantic! Like the scene from Sense & Sensibility with someone upstanding like Chakotay instead of that wastrel Willoughby.

Love the gingerbread house competition too. Very holly jolly!

My vote.

Another of Tom's holoprograms?

Hmmm, shades of Fair Haven. But since Kathryn's got a real man with her, no wife-deletion necessary.
