Art that doesn't need its own thread

From sketch to A.I. model?

One of the things I hope people do is use Trek Novel art as I put to flesh out the rest of the art.
Or alternatively, you don't put someone's copyrighted work through an art theft machine.

There might come a time where an artist in bad health needs those helps.

Ares from Axanar, though computer generated—wasn’t A.I., but many questioned how far fair use goes.

The guys at UGH models got C&Ds for having physical models of other designs…which is stifling.

One of the more interesting things I have seen done on Reddit months back was from an individual who enlarged the heads of grown individuals in a photograph…and they looked like schoolgirls. I forget the subreddit.

I think the attacking kids in WEAPONS are only just now possible….even sugar glass could get into the eye. 2011’s THE THING may have disappointed some—but things have become more realistic…for good or ill.

I was thinking of a design for HMS Enterprize and so far I've come up with basing it on the Liberator from Blake's 7, coloured TARDIS blue, and shuttlecraft based on Starbug.

If you didn't know already and want a free tool for a painterly look, there is UCUPAINT for Blender.
I've never heard of it before, tried it out just now. I have to say it's very good. You can paint in layers just like any other draw/paint software.

Not that my example is anything to look at but it was very easy to paint directly onto the 3d object compare to ordinary texture-paint i think. Watched this tutorial on how to get started with it, i only cared about the very beginning but it seems like the tool can do similar things like substance. Also there is a free brush-pack that is linked in the video.

Followed an amazing Blender tutorial, building a jeep from scratch to uv-unwrapping and finally texturing with UcuPaint. I have been looking at a lot of tutorials, this is probably the best i've seen.
