Art Challenge/Inspirational Thingy, Maybe

There's a thread in General called "Titles/Phrases from Star Trek that would make good Band names".

This isn't a contest, per se, but if anyone wants to do cover art for albums supposedly from the bands being mentioned, it would be wicked cool.

Note: I am unaffiliated with the person who started the thread, and have no ulterior motive other than thinking it is a neat idea.

Nice idea! In addition, the below is a fun exercise in generating random bands, albums and covers:

1. Go to Wikipedia and hit “random” and the first article you get is the name of your band.
2. Go to “Random Quotations”. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page will be the title of your new album.
3. Go to Flickr and click on “Explore the Last Seven Days”. The third picture, no matter what it is (don’t cheat), will be your album cover.

You could follow that exercise using Memory Alpha as your Wikipedia, and http://cubemonkey.net/quotes/ to generate Star Trek quotes that you could pull an album title from. Since this is the Art forum, the visual component should be easy!
