Spoilers Arrow - Season 4

Maybe. We don't know the details. And an analogy doesn't have to be dead-on exact to be present. Fictional villains have been expressing their admiration for the Nazis for over 70 years now, and it's never been limited to those who shared their ideology exactly.

^^
Genocide is generally perpetrated by a majority over a minority, not the other way around.
I think lumping anything under that term, especially fictional whole world destroying plans by fictional comic book villains, is slightly disrespectful to unfortunately a multitude of actual tragedies that have plagued human history.

Genos is Greek for race.

I'd been told once that genocide is targeting a genome. Genome is mash of gene and chromosome, so that isn't true.

So invent a new word for it.

If we discover an alien species tomorrow that outnumbers the human race 10:1 and on the day after that I (one man, acting without the support of anyone else) develop a virus that wipes them out... I've committed genocide. Numbers and niceties be damned.

Ants outnumber us millions to one at any given moment. I've probably killed Millions over the course of my life time, how about you?

What I heard was the first part of that speech (if I didn't mishear it), where Darhk went out of his way to say that the Nazis were unspeakably bad or somesuch, then proceeded with the "but...". Which made me roll my eyes...you're a (would-be mass-murdering) villain, own it.

Interesting to see he has a family...but now that he's been outed/accused publicly (at least as some kind of bad man)...won't they (and others) know about this dual identity?
Maybe they already know to some extent. Mob bosses have families, too. "Never ask me about my business."

Barry and Ray seemed far more natural
I never pictured them as a couple...not that there's anything wrong with that.

It was kind of funny both The Flash and Arrow had nods to The Godfather in them this week.

Can someone remind me why Ollie's baby mama didn't want Felicity to know about his son? I think I missed the rationale last night.

I think, she just realized how toxic of an environment to grow up in the Queen family was and wanted her child away from it all.

She didn't want her son to be a Queen.
It's because mamas own the child and have all the control and rights and dadas are the atms.

Sound bitter? Reverse the genders and see how much the story makes sense.

Ollie plays along because his character is that he despises himself and believes he has no rights to a family, happiness, or peace. If he had a shred of self-respect he would realize that his child needs a father the same as Barry Allen needs both of his fathers.

Ollie wouldn't have known either except for a chance meeting at the coffee house. And really as a mayorial candidate he might not it known that he's got a son out there. It was odd though that she kept the check, as though waiting for for Ollie to find out the truth.

You know...I would have worried more about Felicity dying if Barry didn't have the ability to run back in time and the CW wasn't launching a new TV series about time traveling "legends".

Consider how TPTB brought back a guest star after her untimely death in season 3. If they did that for Sara, what wouldn't they do for Felicity?

Oh, has anyone figured out what that map is supposed to be for in the flashbacks... and why did he need the lady to teach him to scuba dive if he wasn't using any scuba equipment?

Wouldn't it be funny if the thing the Baron's looking for was one of the gold (?) goblets Ollie left behind in the box with the map? :rommie:

Speaking of maps... how long does paper last underwater anyway? :vulcan:

Maybe its the map itself that's magical. :p

^There are water-resistant varieties of paper and ink. It stands to reason that the maps aboard a ship would be made of such materials.

Vixen is coming to the Arrow and Flashverse

Nice. Assuming that the animated webseries is being treated as canon, I wonder how they'll deal with the fact that Oliver knows Vixen already but the TV audience mostly doesn't. At least with Constantine, we got flashbacks explaining how they met. Here, they'd have to reference a story that a large portion of their audience hasn't seen.
