I don't know, why would any opinion matter? Do opinions matter? Who gets to decide whose opinions matter, and whose don't?
Depends on the subject. An informed opinion matters more that one that isn't.
"Ha ha -- You're probably right" sounds more like humoring the guy than agreeing with him.
It did say in the article that he rarely responds to fan comments, so I doubt he would have bothered to respond if he was just humoring the guy.
He is a former cast member, so he does have at least a little more personal involvement than a regular fan.
I didn't think Season3 was that bad. I will agree it wasn't as good as the first two season, but I still really enjoyed it.

Still, "you're probably right" isn't the sort of thing you say if you agree with someone's opinion about a show's writing. I think Bennett is saying "you're probably right that the character pictured there is not Slade Wilson." But of course the Internet "news" media is always trying to manufacture controversies out of nothing.
I honestly agree with that guy. "Arrow" is no longer Arrow, its "Felicity". They probably would have renamed it that, except there was already a show named Felicity, so there is probably a legal reason they can't do it. As for Slade, he'd probably show up, only to be defeated in 15 seconds by Felicity's tears or something, after which Felicity and Oliver would spend the next 44 minutes of the episode doing generic romance stuff that had nothing to do with anything. Well, maybe 30 minutes. They'd give about a minute of screen time to Diggle, and then 3 minutes to Detective Lance being a complete a-hole and trying to catch Oliver, and the other 10 minutes would be a stupid flashback to something no one cares about. Season 3 was basically that, with a few action scenes to break up the Felicity scenes. Season 4 probably won't show a punch thrown or an arrow fired until episode 5

Unless Oliver moves to the country. Then it becomes "Green Acres"

If he didn't dig up and molest Shado's corpse, Manu/Slade is at least one step ahead of the worst hand he could have been dealt.
Bennett has made previous comments that he was not happy with how easily Slade was defeated at the end of season 2. That the character in the comics could never have his powers taken away.
Well, Manu Bennett is in the news again, but this one is worse. He was apparently arrested for assault during a party at The Grand Hyatt Hotel, which is hosting Alamo City Comic Con, where Bennett was appearing.
