Aron Eisenberg (Nog) suspended from Facebook over Holocaust photos

Star Trek DS9 actor Aron Eisenberg (Nog) has apparently been suspended or removed for posting Holocaust photos.

He re-posted photos that had been removed for "nudity". It was dead bodies in a concentration camp. And men like walking skeletons. It was removed from my page and I reposted it with about twenty other Holocaust posts.
I may be next.

When did this happen? On the Holocaust Memorial Day two days ago? Facebook never minds racism and hatred on their profiles and now this. Yes, there indeed is something broken within Facebook.

I stand with Eisenberg.
 
UGH. I've been reporting incidents of blatant anti-Semitism left and right on FB, and all I ever get are "this doesn't violate our rules of whatever" automated replies. Then, this happens? Seriously? Good lord. What's their logic? Someone says racist bullcrap about Jewish people and nothing happens, but when someone else makes a post in remembrance of the horrors of the calamity, they get blocked? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense, now. The mind boggles.
 
Facebook is done, it seems to have a weird moderator team of far-far-left, ANTI anti communists, religious puritans, and islamo apologist mods from places like Morocco, India, Pakistan....they have outsourced their moderation to some very strange people, I have also heard from sources that the wife of Anjem Choudary has admin and moderator privileges on facebook, people have banned for "defaming the prophet".
I gave up on facebook for more free platforms like youtube, liveleak, twitter and reddit.
You also have the fact we saw in news reports that Angela Merkel is in some kind of cahoots with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and wants anti-immigration posts censored. The company using groups like Morocco for oDesk, one of the outsourcing companies used by Facebook...seems to be more concerned about photos of hemp leaves, painted nudity, mohammed cartoons...than it does against say suicide bombings, racism or islamic beheadings
If you have a facebook account I suggest changing your profile pic or banner to this very same picture in solidarity with Star Trek actor Aron Eisenberg and support of freedom of speech

That was a simplification, what news station did report that?
 
I checked for his facebook page too this morning and found a page. Maybe it was just the pictures deleted. Didn't find anything on the net as well. Maybe it's a Hoax.

What if its moderators slowly become a foreign team of Sharia-Law moderators? Is it still under no obligation to the citizens of the United States, Europe, Canada, Hong Kong and all those other people who give them company traffic, pay for its products and click on its adverts?

The news is getting it wrong, which happens. Won't speculate about the reasons. Elections in the US, lack of precision by this Mr. David, etc.

The problem they talked about is hate-speech in general (Volksverhetzung), which is persecuted by the criminal code and therefore an issue. A private corporation operating in Germany has to respect and fulfill German laws. It was not about "anti-immigration-posts".

It's under no obligation to let anyone post. Just like this place is under no obligation to let you or anyone else but the owner to post.

Nope. The only way that Facebook users can "control" the site is by choosing to leave or stay. The company is under no obligation to conform to the ravings of conspiracy theorists.
By the by "foreign team of Sharia-Law moderators" is one of the stupidest lines I have ever read.

2meet some Trekkies and Atheists and Secular people....try adding a good 50 or so people from around the world to give yourself a nice diverse public profile
3Start posting stuff against Christianity
4Now start posting public against Islam, describe their prophet in a frank blunt manner, desribe him as a warlord, a pedophile, throw up a banner with a Richard Dawkins quote...do this a few times publicly...see how long your account lasts
