Armie Hammer says WB is looking for older Superman?

I'ts Rowan Atkinson....he blends into the Avatar look rather well doesn't he?
Although I do like the idea of an older, more experienced Superman (and of Jon Hamm playing him), I think Armie Hammer, who was great in The Social Network, would be perfect for the role if they went with a younger Superman. To prove this point, I made a little Photoshop collage:

Disturbingly so. I haven't gotten around to seeing the movie yet, and that image is not helping.
They should find another little-known actor. I don't need to see some guy I can see for free on TV every week.

The movie is great and I do love it. I am anxiously waiting for the special edition coming out next month.
Just like the dislike for the Hamm suggestion with some folks, I feel very similar to about Bomer. I don't really see him as Clark/Supes at all.
My choice has been Matt Bomer, I think he'd be great but if they're going older then I guess that would count him out. Until we get some actually casting news I'm going to stop speculating now.
My top 3 picks would be Jon Hamm, Jim Caveziel or Billy Crudup.

This news makes my day! I love Hamm for this but even if it's not him, I have been saying we need an older Superman for years! Superman should look like Alex Ross paints him.
No not Levi, but Adam Baldwin would be interesting.
