Granted, i've only seen the movies, in them he comes across as a bored, hedonistic hippster... which btw is a kind of vampire I enjoy alot more than the brooding, self-torturing kind.

Lestat is from the era when vampires sucked blood, not cock.

However, in the later Anne Rice books he is nigh-invincible from all the powerful blood he's sampled. So stories featuring him have zero suspense- he can't be killed by any means (a couple days in the direct sunlight of the Gobi desert gets him a tan IIRC) and it gets boring reading about him falling in love with this mortal or that mortal and turning them into vampires... over and over again.

Nonetheless, he could still rip Edward's face off and wipe his ass with it. Not that he would do something so crude. Just that he could.
