Serously, I keep resolving to write some original stuff someday, but, for now, the tie-ins are keeping me busy. (A good problem to have, I know.)

I have idea's upon idea's but unfortunately extremely bad follow-through. The only one I finished was a short story for a contest I was having with some of my friends a couple years ago. I re-read it recently and while the idea is fine the execution was sub-par. I'm thinking of re-writing it.

I'm currently working on two ideas and trying to get outlines going. One is a historical fantasy set during the American Civil war about a company of soldiers from the Army of the Potomac whose job is to hunt down and kill vampires who have been preying off the casualties on the various battlefields. The other is a concept for a trilogy of sci-fi novels set several thousand years in the future after humanity has been rescued from our solar system by a benevolent alien race as our sun went into pre-mature supernova.

I wrote a novel while I was back in university (five years ago, feels like a lifetime) which garnered a good dozen rejection letters.

Since then I've dabbled and tried to write any one of a trillion different ideas. Recently I've been cementing three ideas in my head. The first is a modern take on the Merlin/Arthur tale; the second is an alternative-history WW2 political thriller which could start WW3; and the third is a Christmas-time murder mystery.

I've been writing genre fiction all my life; technically, I do it professionally, but I'm not quite at the point of quitting my day job. The Erotic Adventures of Space Babe 113 is a about a woman (Space Babe 113) who wanted to be a fashion designer but the careers 'bot made her become an astronaut. She's on a five year trading mission in space and has various sureal adventures.

Looks nice. There are some flattering comparisons to Bode and Nino, two of my favorites, in that review. I'd buy it if it were available in the US.

I've been writing stories (particularly sci-fi) since I first learned how to write at all. Nothing published, at this point, and I haven't really tried to go down that road.

I recently went back to the very first project I ever had. I've let it languish for several years, gave it time to percolate, and I think now is a good time to work on it. Pretty much covers the life of its protagonist as he grows up in the late 21st century, and ends up adventuring across time and space. Although the subject matter is grim at times, the main character tries not to take anything too seriously, and I've been told it's pretty funny (I don't really know, I have a strange sense of humor.)

I also run a writing community for like-minded people, which is linked in my sig. All kinds of writers are welcome there.

Too bad they only seem to take PayPal. Strangely, From The Tomb is available in the US-- I've gotten a couple of issues-- so it's odd that Space Babe isn't.

I've created about 3 different story arcs for television, written hundreds of pages for each of them, penned 17 actual scripts, then lost interest or seem parts of it appear in Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, etc.

Currently have one small story on the go, featuring a crew lost in a distant star system. Think Shackleton in space. It's called Candlelight, hence my username change from Year of Hell a few weeks ago.

I only ever write for personal interest and fun. I would love to publish stuff, or get a show going, but I'm in no hurry.
