Yes and no.

Technically I own about $6000 in student debts. However I don't have to start paying back until my income is over $45,000 a year. As it is unlikely my income will reach this amount it looks like I will never have to pay it back.

I have no other debts.

combined with out-of-pocket medical: of our right not somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 to 14 thousand.

Student debt, but that doesn't really count as its income tied and I don't have to pay it back if I can't afford to.
Otherwise, no. I live to my paycheck. I don't have the savings I'd like, but I don't have debts.

Yes, I'm not sure the total amount, but probably in the range of $25,000

yeah

not really stable financially you could say

it sucks

Some - have been all my adult life. We're talking mortgages, car payments, etc.

That said, I'm less in debt today than I probably have been at any time in the last thirty years. :)

Husband has a mortgage, but I voted no. Of course this may change if I pursue a PsyD but so far so good. We've been lucky and smart.

I have car payments left but nothing besides that. Amazing that I got through college and grad school with no loans and no monetary support from my parents.

Am I in debt? ho my god,yikes:brickwall::brickwall:, son of a bi...,:censored::censored:, o lord,:scream::wah:.

Yes I am in debt. A bit of a ways into the wrong side of 50 grand.

Most of it is student loans. I am actually fairly good with money I just have always been very underemployed because of my usual issues.

Yeah, quite a bit, but all of it 'normal' debt, for lack of a better term. Mortgage, some student loans left, that's it. Cars are paid off, don't carry a credit card balance, and the mob isn't looking for me or anything. Just the house and student loans. Not worried about it, though, as my income is more than in line with my payments, it's a secure job, and getting married in 2 weeks to a girl that makes the same I do, but without any debt of her own outside of finishing up her car loan next year...

Yes, a small amount, about $3,000. I have worked very hard to keep it as low as possible.

I have a home mortgage and a car payment (one year left on the car) but no credit card debt. The debt I hate the most, though, is $2000 I am paying off to my lawyer. That is debt that I was FORCED into by my ex-wife and so it f'ing stings the worst.

On the other hand, I was just handed a significant raise at work, which is going to include 6 weeks retroactive on both salary and an adjustment to my 80 hour buyback last week. I will likely pay off at least half of my lawyer debt with those monies.

Yes. For a few years before I bought a house, I lived on cash and rarely had less than $2,500 in the bank. After I bought the house I got a card so I could buy stuff like a lawn mower, snow blower and other stuff I didn't need when I was renting because the mortgage was taking up a chunk of my monthly income. :(

I haven't sold the house yet, so that adds to the burden.
