Not unless I can talk the local indie theater into running it (They've got an attached cafe that serves wine, beer, and pizza. I'm forever spoiled for multiplex chow).
I'll just bring in snacks from the food court in the mall.
( The theaters here are part of a mall of course. )
They let folks do that too, 'cause it's pointless to try to stop folks from doing that.
Actually, that sounds like a good idea; if the movie really is bad, I'll probably want to numb the senses, which might allow me to salvage my enjoyment of it. But as a true Trekkie, I might have to dye mine blue and call it Romulan Ale (or green for Aldebaran Whiskey).
I don't go to the theater often. Normally, I'm kinda a health nut, but on those occasions, nachos with lotsa cheese and peppers, two hot dogs, a pickle and some lemonade...
Ugh. I drank some of that Romulan Ale from the ST:Experience shop... it's horrible. Skunky stuff. You might have had a different experience; I'm sure they buy whatever is the cheapest for that batch and add blue food dye.
I'll probably buy a large popcorn and soda for ST XI. The rule is to only sip on the soda until 3/4 of the movie is over. I learned the hard way during The Fellowship of the Ring.
